Media Training Definition: 

Preparation for interview: preparation, including counseling and rehearsal, given to somebody before an interview by the media or an appearance on radio or television

 A great definition but I’ll just add a few more points. 

 What is Media Training? 

- Strengthening communications skills

- Developing comfort in dealing with reporters

- Building confidence so that when talking with reporters the person being interviewed will be able to get their message points delivered

- Learning the process of dealing with reporters and being a valuable resource to them while still putting your business, group or association in the best light.
